How to convert 1080p to 1080i video using ffmpeg
I am using FFMPEG and trying to convert 1080p to 1080i, yes i know that -vf tinterlace would help, but i do not know the exact syntax of use, currently i am using this: ffmpeg -i -c:v libx264 -c:a aac -vf tinterlace
When i check the generated output in a video analyzer tool like Mediainfo, i see that its still progressive, ofcourse i know there is some mistake in the command, please help me wrt the same, i need both top field first and bottom field first formats of interlacing to be applied to 1080p source video content.
Thanks in advance
